	Option	Description

Your own domain control panel provides the tools and utilities which give you true control over your account and web site. There is a large selection of options available in the Control Panel. 	Account Management	Provides detailed information about your account. (More in-depth than the Account Glance feature of the Control Panel.)
	Add Domain	This feature is for resellers only! There are two different types of domains you can add: Added Domains and Parked Domains. Resellers set up new new hosting accounts via Add Domain.
	Add Package	Add package is for adding other features that are optional to your control panel.
	Anonymous FTP	Anonymous FTP (File Transfer Protocol) is a method by which your guests can upload content (files) to an incoming directory. To make use of Anonymous FTP, your users would need to know the FTP utility included in their operating system, or use one of several available FTP programs, such as WS-FTP or Cute FTP.
	Archive Manager	The Archive Manager option provides a method of backing up files on your site by compressing them. It is always good practice to back up files in case damage should occur to original files. Compressing files allows you to reduce the amount of storage space your files take up, thus freeing more space for you to work with on your site.
	Billing History	Shows the entire billing history and payment balance for your account.
	CartXpress	CartXpress, powered by osCommerce is a powerful e-commerce application which enables small to medium-sized businesses to implement a robust, secure, and professional online store. It also includes powerful features such as coupon and gift certificate modules, live UPS, USPS, and Fedex shipping, and Ebay and Amazon store connectors. 	Change Password	Using the Change Password option, you can change the password for your account. This affects Control Panel, FTP and SSH access, but does not affect the passwords for any e-mail accounts you set up.
	Counters	The Counters option allows you to set up a hit counter on your site, which lets you determine how many times the page on which the counter resides has been visited. This counter is displayed on the page and can be viewed in various counter styles. Additionally, you can start the counter at any number you set, and it will count hits and add them to that number.
	Cron Job Manager	With the Cron Job Manager, you can set up commands that will run automatically at set intervals that you specify. For more details Click Here.
	Email Support	You can correspond via e-mail with us by using the E-mail Support option. This option allows you to submit a form-based e-mail directly to our support staff.
	Error Manager	Use this option to create custom error pages for your Web site. An example of a custom error page would be a page on your site that comes up if someone gets a '404 Page Not Found' error. For more details Click Here.
	File manager	Similar to Microsoft Windows Explorer in function, the File Manager Option in the Control Panel allows you to perform file management tasks such as creating files and directories, setting the read, write or execute permissions on the files and directories in your site, renaming or deleting files or directories, and changing the password for directories that are password-protected.
	Form Mail	Formmail allows you to use a form to receive e-mail from your users. The Formmail option provides step-by-step instructions on how to set this up on your website. For more details Click Here.
	FTP User Account Manager	The FTP User Account Manager tool will allow you to create and manage additional FTP users on your domain. An FTP user is an additional login that will have access to a subdirectory of your website and not to your domain control panel. For more details Click Here.

	Guest Book	A guest book is a web page that allows visitors to your site to post comments to you and to other visitors. This is a good tool to collect testimonials and customer feedback.
	ht://Dig Website Search Engine	The ht://Dig system is a complete world wide web indexing and searching system for a domain or intranet. This system is not meant to replace the need for powerful internet-wide search systems like Lycos, Infoseek, Google and AltaVista. 	Invision Powerboard	Invision Power Board is a an award-winning forum software and communications portal. Members can subscribe to topics and be notified when someone replies to that thread, send each other private messages, view statistics, and perform several other options. Moderators will be pleased to find a powerful administration control panel that includes the abilities to open, close, lock / unlock (pin/unpin), move, delete topics as well edit and delete individual posts. 	Mail Manager	The Mail Manager option provides several ways of managing the mail accounts you set up on your account. Additionally, if Mailing Lists have been set up for your account, you can manage them using this tool. Mailboxes for individuals or groups can be set up using the Mail Manager option. The number of mailboxes allowable on your account depends on the hosting package you purchased. E-mail accounts can be set up to forward to other mail accounts or to have automatic responses generated when mail is received by the original account. 	Mailing List	The Mailing List option, once installed, allows you to create and manage your own mailing lists, which is an efficient way of communicating with many people at one time.
	Mime Types	Mime Types represent file types as presented to your web browser. The Mime Type option in the Control Panel allows you to specify which types of files you can open with your web browser.
	Miva	Installs Miva Empresa for the domain, a program that is necessary if you want to operate the Miva Merchant Shopping Cart on your site. In addition to Miva we als offer CartXpress. Click here for E-Commerce hosting.
	MS FrontPage	If you are planning on using Microsoft's FrontPage as the web-development tool for your site, you will first need to enable FrontPage Extensions. We support all versions. Installing FrontPage extensions for your site does not install Microsoft FrontPage on your computer. FrontPage is a separate software application which you will need to purchase and install on your computer. (Note: Some computers come equipped with Microsoft FrontPage pre-installed.)
	MySQL Database	The MySQL option in the Control Panel allows the setup of a MySQL database on your site. Once the database has been installed, there is documentation available within the MySQL Option for managing the database. This procedure shows you how to install MySQL and provides a basic overview of the screens you can expect to see within this option.
	Netbuilder	NetBuilder is a full-featured web-based database management program, useful for home-office applications as well as large-scale corporate databases shared by many users. NetBuilder was designed to allow you to administer, manipulate, and search on your data - all from a web-based interface. NetBuilder can be used by both novice database users and experienced DBAs. 	Network Trouble Shooter	Allows you to use the Traceroute utility which shows the path on the web that information travels in order to get from one location to another.
	Online Support	Provides direct help, support pages, control panel manual and instant answers for hosting customers inside their account.

	PGP Mail	The PGP Mail option provides you with instructions for using PGP Mail in forms on your site. This option should be used in conjunction with the PGP and Formmail options.
	Phone Support	The Phone Support option not only shows you the phone number and other information for us, it also shows you the information we have about you. This information may be needed during the support call you place.
	Poll Manager	The Poll Manager gives users the ability to create polls on their sites. Polls are a good way to get feedback from your users on your site or products. For more details Click Here.
	Protect Directories	Using the Protect Directories option, you can limit the amount of access users have to your site. You can specify a username and password for the directory you are protecting. Each protected directory can have multiple users (each with different passwords if you prefer) who have access to it. Additionally, the Protect Directories option can be used to remove a user's access from a protected directory.
	Redirect URL	The Redirect URL option allows you to change the file that appears when a user enters a specific file's web address. For more details Click Here.
	Resource Meter	The Resource Meter option provides a detailed view of disk space and transfer data statistics that are more detailed than those that show up in the Resources Available section of the Control Panel.
	Secure Server	Allows you to install a secure certificate form Verisign or Thawte on your site. This option helps you generate a request and installation for this certificate. (We recommend using a Geotrust certificate from GeoTrust.com and that can be ordered also via your domain control panel. (see GeoTrust info above).
	Site Statistics	Many statistics about the usage of your web site are available through the Site Statistics option in the Control Panel. The statistics are generated by the http-analyze program, by Rent-A-Guru. Log files can also be download from the server.

	DSBL Spam Blocking	Spam Blocking is done via databases of IP addresses of spam-sources, including known spammers, spam gangs, spam operations and spam support services. The DSBL (Distributed Sender Blackhole List) from SpamHaus.org, SpamCop.net and DSBL.org is used by a number of the world's backbones, many large tier-1 providers and ISPs in all countries, by a number of U.S. and European government and military networks, and a number of giant free email providers. Most large DSBL subscribers, universities and corporations, including major banks, aerospace, electronics and computer manufacturers protecting a user base calculated in November 2003 to be approximately 160 Million users. In addition to these known subscribers, thousands of smaller ISPs, firms and mail systems throughout the Internet subscribe to the DSBL estimated to be serving in excess of 40 Million users, meaning the DSBL total coverage is estimated at 200 Million users. The DSBL is a fast and automatic list of sites sending reported mail, fueled by a number of sources, including automated reports and SpamCop user submissions. The DSBL is time-based, resulting in quick and automatic de-listing of these sites when reports stop. It is important to note that, unlike most commercial ISP-level spam filter solutions, the DSBL does not "absorb and trash" incoming email - instead it has a vital delivery fail-safe mechanism. By design, no matter how rare they may be, any false positive rejected by mail servers using the DSBL follows correct RFC mail delivery procedure and is returned (bounced) to the immediate Sender with the explanation of why the message could not be not delivered and what the Sender should do about it.
	SSH	If you have SSH (Secure Shell) software on your PC, you can use this option to telnet securely into your site's server (uses RSA authentication).
	Submit Sites to Search Engines	Jump-start your Web site: use InternetPlanners.com Search Engine Starter. This free tool will submit your site to 12 Top search engines.
	Upgrade	The Upgrade Control Panel option allows you to add additional features to your account and upgrade your account to another hosting plan.
	Urchin	Urchin is a web analytics software package designed to analyze traffic for one or more websites and provide highly accurate, useful, easy-to-understand reports on-demand. For more details Click Here. Urchin can be added to all hosting accounts at $5.00 per month.
	Virtual Name Servers	Using this feature, you can set up your own Virtual Name Servers. You can have ns.yourdomain.com and ns2.yourdomain.com. Available on reseller's Control Panel only. We become invisible to your clients, you become the hosting company!
	Web Mail	Our POP email accounts can also be accessed via our web based email. Of course you can use your email reader like MS Outlook or Eudora or other email reader to retrieve mail from the server. (All accounts also include POP mail accounts) For features and tutorial click here
	Web Site Builder	Our Web Site Builder is the perfect tool for getting your web site up quickly. You can choose from a range of professionally designed templates, and simple point and click menus to get your site up in no time, with all the basics, including an automated contact form. 	WebGlimpse Search Engine	The Search Engine Options allows you to install the WebGlimpse Search Engine on your site. This tool allows users to perform searches for content on your site. This is a great tool if you have many pages and a lot of content.
